Vision
The main vision for this ministry, and the reason for that we have this ministry is to present and show people who Jesus is.
We believe that through what we do, we can show many people who Jesus is. Through that we help pour people to get a better life quality, give out medicine and education free, we can help many people in need.
Jesus showed Gods love to people through helping them, caring about their needs, healing them and blessing their life, and we also need to do that if we want to see a better world. We have to start where we are and help people around us; we need to give them their needs.
In following text you can read our vision, what we want to do through this ministry. Please help us to fulfill this plans and vision, through praying for this ministry. You are also welcome to sponsor us with what you can give.
Christianity
We want to encourage and help believers in Jesus, in Sri Lanka. To follow Jesus faithfully in everything they do. To be committed disciples to Jesus, those live their life according to the teaching of the Holy Bible.
Children/Youth/Education
We believe in children and youth, they are our future, they are the next generation in this world. We have responsibility as grown up to help them to get a good start in life, whatever background or situation they come from. Every child has a big value; we need to do what we can to help them. This Ministry wants to help children and youth through:
-Giving them free education in different subjects.
We want to start education centers and Libraries, which will help people in their education so that they can have hope for a good future.
-We want to help unemployed to get a job, through helping them with their education.
-We are starting youth clubs, where youth can gather together and have a good time and get good relationship to each other.
-We want to organize youth camp, for encourage youth, and to bring youth together so that they can have a good time.
Many children have a hard life, many are pouring. In different ways we want to help pour children. We want to be a help for them so that they can have a stabile situation in their home. Through sponsoring them with money can we help them so that they can eat good and healthy food, have good cloths and have the books and material they need in school.
-We also want to help orphans to get a good start in life. Through giving help to orphanage and help to build up orphanages.
People in need/ Elders home
Many people in Sri Lanka live their life with many and big needs. A specially pour, sick, elders and handicaps people have many unfilled needs.
-We want to change the situation for pour people through helping them to provide their needs, as home, food, cloths, education and also their spiritual needs. We want to help them with their education, so that they can get a job and have income that will provide for their needs and give them a better life standard.
-Every month do we have free medical clinic together with one other organization. In future would we like to help to sick people even more.
-Elders that don’t have relatives that help them and provide for their needs, have a hard situation, we want to help them. One thing that we really want to do is to build up an elder’s home. In south area in sri lanka There is a big need for starting up Christian elder’s home. We hope that God will help us and provide for building up a Christian elders home in the future.
-We also want to help handicaps people, give them the equipment they need and care about them.
-We want to organize family camps for chiristians, where families can stay together under some days, listening to the word of God, get families counseling and prayer.
-We want to help drugaddicters and people with alcholaddiction to get freedom from their addiction. Through helping them, giving them counseling and build up their life
Disaster
As a social ministry we want to help with the resources we have if a disaster or a Nature disaster would happen. Like a tsunami, flood, drought, land slide or some other nature disaster. We want to help people who is situated where a disaster have happened. First we want to give them their basic needs, look how their family situation is and help them both psychical and spiritual, and help them to build up their life again.
Society
We want to help to the society, through making roads better, build up and repairing schools that are pour, build well’s and supplying water to people that do not have clean water. Help to build up common things in the society that do not work. Help churches to supply their needs and build and repairing churches.
Unity
There are many needs in this world, we want to help many people and we believe that if we work together and co-operate with other organizations and churches with similar projects we can reach out to more people than if we work alone. Already now are we co-operating with many churches in south of Sri Lanka. It is important that our work brings unity. We would like to see a Sri Lanka, were people can be safe and not all the time being afraid for war. We work for a united Sri Lanka, a Sri Lanka in peace.
